How to test a gamepad online
Connect the controller
USB or Bluetooth — same as usual for your OS.
Press a button
Browsers need a user gesture before exposing the Gamepad API.
Check sticks and buttons
Move sticks and press A/B/X/Y, LT/RT, D-pad — everything lights up.
Rumble
If supported, press Vibrate and feel dual-rumble.
Frequently asked questions
Gamepad doesn’t show up?
Press any button on the controller while this tab is focused. Some browsers hide pads until the first input.
No rumble?
Vibration isn’t universal — more common in Chromium and not on every controller/OS.
What is stick drift?
A small constant offset of an analog stick from center. The tool visualizes axes live, so drift shows up as movement with your hands off.
