Frequently asked questions
Why is there a mirror mode?
Mirror flips the preview like a real mirror — easier to look at yourself. It does not affect other websites.
Can I choose another webcam?
Yes. Pick a camera in Devices before starting. The list usually fills in after the first permission grant.
Why is the image dark or blurry?
Add light from the front and clean the lens — in low light the camera raises gain and autofocus starts hunting, which softens the picture.
Are snapshots saved to a server?
No. Snapshots and recordings stay in your browser's local library until you download or delete them.
Is the downloaded photo mirrored?
No. Mirror only flips the live preview. Saved photos and videos match what others would see, not the mirrored studio view.
