Calculate distance between coordinates online
Two points by latitude and longitude: kilometres, bearing and a map link.
What this distance calculator can do
- Haversine distance in kilometers, meters and miles
- Initial bearing between the two points
- Rough flight time estimate
- City presets for quick input
- My location via browser geolocation
- Open both points in OpenStreetMap

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the result?
The tool uses the haversine formula on a spherical Earth — typically within about 0.5% of the real great-circle distance. Terrain and roads are ignored.
What is bearing?
The initial compass direction from point A to point B in degrees, where 0° is north and 90° is east.
Which coordinate format is accepted?
Decimal degrees, for example 55.7558 latitude and 37.6173 longitude. Southern and western values are negative.
Is my location uploaded anywhere?
No. Browser geolocation only fills in the fields locally — your coordinates never leave the device.
