Split image online — grid and Instagram 3×3
Split a photo into tiles online: 2 parts, 2×2, 3×3 Instagram grid. Download a ZIP of slices.
Pick how many rows and columns you need. A 3×3 grid is the usual Instagram puzzle; 1×2 splits a panorama.
The overlay shows cut lines. Download names include row and column so you can upload in order.
A 3×3 split of a 900×900 image yields nine tiles of 300×300 if the size divides evenly. If the width is 1000, the last column is wider or the tool crops the remainder, depending on the grid mode. The tiles are new files; the source is not deleted. Order is row by row from the top left, which matters if you upload them back into a collage. This page opens the split studio. Merging those tiles again is the other converter.
FAQ
Are tiles the same size?
As equal as whole pixels allow. Leftovers go to the last row and column.
